NarlyBoyy is a Christian artist, songwriter, entrepreneur, and creative whose mission is simple: use his God-given gifts to inspire people to seek God, overcome adversity, and walk in purpose.

Born as Zlanweah Buduo Zarwie in Monrovia, Liberia, NarlyBoyy's story began long before music. During Liberia's civil war, his father, Patrick Zarwie, made the difficult decision to move his family to the United States in search of greater opportunities and a better education. In April 2008, NarlyBoyy immigrated to America alongside his siblings, beginning a journey that would shape the foundation of his faith, resilience, and artistry.

Raised in Southwest Philadelphia, NarlyBoyy grew up with a mindset that often set him apart from those around him. While many of his peers followed traditional paths, he explored activities that challenged expectations—playing lacrosse, practicing parkour, skateboarding, and constantly pushing creative boundaries. His willingness to think differently earned him criticism at times, but it also developed the fearless mindset that would later become central to his music and personal brand.

The name NarlyBoyy comes from the word gnarly—a term often used to describe something difficult, challenging, dangerous, or extraordinary. The name reflects both his life experiences and his determination to embrace challenges rather than run from them.

Before music became his primary focus, NarlyBoyy spent years performing and creating in different ways. Alongside his younger brother Ninyatoe, he performed as one half of the Zarwie Boys, serving as a background dancer for notable West African artists including Timaya and the late Zaye Tete. Those early performances taught him how to command a stage and connect with audiences long before he ever stepped behind a microphone.

His creative development continued through music education, dance training, and performances at Philadelphia's renowned Kimmel Center. He learned to play both the clarinet and guitar while studying music theory, experiences that helped shape his understanding of songwriting and performance.

Ironically, music wasn't part of a master plan. NarlyBoyy often says he started rapping by accident. While visiting family, he would watch his cousin Phil and a friend freestyle for fun. One day he decided to join in, discovering a passion he didn't know existed. Soon after, he recorded his first song alongside his younger brother over Meek Mill and Rick Ross's "Tupac Back" instrumental and uploaded it to SoundCloud.

As his interest in music grew, so did his ambitions. Hearing stories of artists who built careers through the internet inspired him to see music as more than a hobby. He realized his testimony, family experiences, faith journey, and personal struggles could become a platform to help others while creating opportunities for the people he loves.

Before pursuing music full-time, NarlyBoyy attended West Chester University, where he played three years of college football while majoring in Communications. His studies helped him develop skills in videography, graphic design, and content creation—tools that continue to support his independent career today. In 2020, he began taking music seriously, and by 2022 he made the difficult decision to leave school and fully commit to his calling.

That same year marked the most important turning point of his life.

After years of battling addiction, unhealthy relationships, and internal struggles, NarlyBoyy found himself at a breaking point. He has openly shared that he struggled with substance abuse, sexual addiction, depression, and hopelessness. In Las Vegas, he connected with members of the Las Vegas International Church, where he began a deeper relationship with God that transformed his life.

Through faith, discipleship, and a renewed understanding of God's love, he discovered a new purpose. From that moment forward, he committed to using music not simply for entertainment, but as a ministry.

Today, NarlyBoyy creates music that blends Christian Hip-Hop, Afro Fusion, Trap, and global influences into a sound that is both uplifting and authentic. His songs are rooted in real-life experiences, biblical truth, perseverance, and hope. Whether he's speaking about faith, personal growth, overcoming hardship, or trusting God's plan, his goal remains the same: to create music that points people back to Christ.

His artistic influences range from Christian artists like Caleb Gordon and Lecrae to mainstream artists such as Meek Mill, NoCap, Rylo Rodriguez, and Polo G. While those influences helped shape his sound, his message remains uniquely his own.

Beyond music, NarlyBoyy is the founder of SUPERIA Music Group and SUPERIA, a lifestyle brand built around one core belief:
